This is a super easy DIY for a feather headband
You will need:
1. Ribbon: you can use a decorative or patterned ribbon, I decided to use a strip of leather
2. A collection of feathers. I decided to go with soft natural colours
3. Beads
4. Elastic
5. Thin leather string
6. A glue gun and glue sticks
All these materials will be available at your local haberdashery or Ebay s also a good source for any DIY materials
Measure your head and sew the elastic onto your ribbon to the approximate size.
Glue 2 smaller pieces of the ribbon onto the sides of your band where the elastic connects with your ribbon (like in image nr 2) this is optional to make the band look neater.
Thread your beads through your thin leather string (shown in image nr 3)
Then you add a touch of glue on the top ends of your feathers and push them through your beading.
Once all your feathers are attached you can attach your thin leather threads onto your main headband on the inside.
Easy and perfect for summer (which is still so far away)
